Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast or simply looking for a beautiful place for a picnic near Helen GA, this is a necessary spot to stop. For the more extreme of us there is the option to kayak or swim in the river at the bottom of the gorge. There is an amazing view from both the middle of the suspension bridge and the overlooks scattered around the park. There is a variety of levels of difficulty depending on your choice but nothing terribly strenuous. The park is kept in great shape year round with a variety of activities offered throughout the year such as night hikes or late night canoeing on Tallulah Lake.
Babyland General Hospital
This is a great place to visit if you have little girls – and even little boys are astounded by this attraction – or if the weather is not very supportive of hiking. The Cabbage Patch Hospital is located in Cleveland, Georgia and offers the opportunity to look around and to even name a Cabbage Patch doll. You do not actually have to purchase a Cabbage Patch doll in order to name it.
